One Insight That Changed How We Build Langua
One insight changed how we build Langua: Language learners don't want to adapt to your app. Your app should adapt to them.
After talking to hundreds of users, we realized everyone learns differently:
⢠Beginners wanted more guidance (not less)
⢠Advanced learners wanted full control over conversations
⢠Some needed instant translation, others found it distracting
⢠Recording speeds that worked for one person frustrated another
So our latest app update focuses entirely on customization:
šÆ Guided Mode - Suggests replies for beginners who get stuck š Pre-chat Vocabulary - Shows helpful words before themed conversations š Custom Conversations - Let learners create their own practice scenarios š Auto-translate - Toggle automatic translation on/off as needed
Coming next: Interruptible AI conversations that feel like talking to a real person.
The breakthrough: Stop building one-size-fits-all language tools. Build adaptive experiences.
Every learner has different goals, confidence levels, and learning speeds. The technology should bend to serve them, not the other way around.
AI is enabling this personalization on a scale never seen before.
What's your experience with products that truly adapt to how you work?
